 EYP Romania
Romania takes part on EYP events since 1996, starting with the international session in Thessaloniki. Currently, it functions as EYP Romania Foundation, having its headquarters in Romania, Oradea. What takes our own projects, EYP Romania organized at national level like Regional Selection Session in 2008, 2009 and 2010, National Selection Session in 2007, 2008 and 2009, as well as at international level, most important the Olympic Forums (Greece) in 2007, 2008 and 2009, Young Forum 2009, East European Forums (Romania) in 2007 and 2008. The 2010 Regional Selection Session have been participated by over 450, representing all historic regions of the country. Periodically, EYP Romania organises the training called "Steps in organising a EYP event", event which has as objective to prepare the next generation of organisers, to train journalists and chairs. We mention here the training in Paltinis, 11-13th january 2008, Oradea, 10-11 january 2009, Olympic Forum 2008 and 2009. We recently closed succesfuly a special EYP Romania event, the Olympic Forum 2010 during summer time! Our organizers, young enthusiasts, are always ready to help the high school students that want to participate by sending some concrete material.
